Sentiment Analysis

Using AI to detect whether text expresses positive, negative, or neutral feeling.

Sentiment analysis is the use of AI to judge the emotional tone of text. At its simplest it scores a message as positive, negative, or neutral. More advanced versions detect specific emotions, sarcasm, or sentiment toward particular topics within the same passage.

It matters because organizations generate enormous volumes of unstructured feedback, support tickets, reviews, survey comments, social posts, and reading it all by hand is impossible. Sentiment analysis turns that flood into trends you can track over time and act on, like a spike in frustration after a product change.
